Incredible Facts You Might Be Missing out About FEVE Decorative Fiber Cement Board

Image
FEVE is a base board which can either be a calcium silicate board or a fiber cement board. Usually, FEVE has a coating with both inorganic ceramic paints as well as a high performing fluorocarbon. The most advantageous thing is that it comes with an appearance which is very gorgeous and abundant colors as well. Additionally, it can be labeled with two different names which are either pre-painting decorative external wall panel or FEVE coating panel. However, there is a wide range of techniques that come about with the FEVE coating panel. The Techniques of the FEVE Coating Panel Today, the FEVE coatings have emerged as the most commonly used types of coating in a majority of the industries. In some other cases, it can be also call fluorocarbon painting. It is considered perfect for chemicals use during the processing stage due to their capability of not reacting with most of the chemicals and the solvents that are used alongside. Moreover, they adapt perfectly in areas that are c...

Amazing Facts You Never Knew about the Different Functions and Requirements of the Ceiling Board and the Lining Board

Image
Do you know that there is much information you don’t know regarding the different functions and requirements of the ceiling board and the lining board? Well, relax because you will have everything at your fingertips now. A ceiling is a surface that is on the interior and usually is overhead. The ceiling board is mostly made of the gypsum material which can as well be termed as either drywall partitioning or drywall. Initially, it is made of several materials. These materials are inclusive of a durable paper which is coated, and finely compressed gypsum. It is then used for both ceilings and interior walls. On the other hand, lining board is made from the magnesium oxide. Below are the different functions between the ceiling board and the lining board. The Different Functions of the Ceiling Board and the Lining Board Fire resistance- The lining board can easily resist fire usually Class A while ceiling board can be Class A in general houses or high standard fire rated board su...

Changing Face of Building Construction through Wallboard and Floorboard Use

Image
The basic form of these Structural Insulated (SIP) Panels takes the shape of two boards having an insulating or filler material between them. While the filler material could consist of foam or rockwool, the panels consist of hard MgO boards or cement boards. Choice of different material gives freedom to the customer and the designer to vary the functionality according to space and purpose requirements. All the material used in the construction is environmentally friendly and structurally strong. Use of magnesium boards is especially useful since they have wonderful fireproofing ability. Use of insulated panels One may use the structural insulated panels at different points in the building construction. They are suitable for the living room, the dining room, kitchen, hall, and garage. They impart good structural values through their resilience and good aesthetic appearance. For instance, the magnesium board finds use as fire board, ceiling board, interior wallboard, floo...

Major Differences between Magnesium Chloride Board and Magnesium Sulfate Board You Probably Didn’t Know

Image
Have you thought that all MgO board components are the same? Well, you have been wrong. However, Jed Panel seeks to outline the major differences that exist between Magnesium Chloride board and magnesium sulfate board to rule out the mindset of a majority of people regarding the similarities of the duo. Initially, magnesium chloride which is abbreviated as MgCl2 is commonly known by the term Magnesium Oxide board while magnesium sulfate is abbreviated as MgSO4 better known as magnesium sulfate board. The MgCl2 board is made from perlite, magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, non-woven fabric, wood chip, glass fiber mesh, and non-woven fiber. On the other hand, magnesium sulfate is material that has recently been developed from magnesium oxide. Below are the major differences between magnesium chloride board and magnesium sulfate board : The chemical structure of the two boards - Basically, magnesium oxide board is formed as a result of a chemical reaction that occurs between m...

Structurally Superior Magnesium Oxide Boards in Building Construction

Image
Magnesium Oxide (MgO) board is an eco-friendly, fire-rated board used in building construction. You have 10mm fire rated drywall MgO board that withstands 2 hours of flaming fire and performs within the norms laid down for building construction material. This finds use while building the interiors of tunnels and places where the outbreak of fire is imminent. Use professional help Experienced professionals do the installation work of the lining boards . This makes it perfectly safe. This is a new generation building material that makes construction easy for builders and construction workers alike. Magnesia, as Magnesium Oxide is otherwise known, is a versatile mineral. You can use it as one of the ingredients to make the cement mixture. However, proper curing procedures must be adopted. It finds general building use where fire safety, mould and mildew control, and sound proofing is an issue. The bonds between Magnesium and Oxygen are very strong, and this contri...

Use of Fire-rated Boards for Building Construction

Image
In many of the modern building constructions, we see use of Magnesium oxide boards in the place of gypsum based drywalls. Primarily, this is because you can score, snap, drill, saw, and fasten the Magnesium Oxide (MgO) board to the framing made or steel or wood. It has high resistance to heat and sound which further increases its utility value. MgO boards resist fire One important property of the MgO board is that it is fireproof. That is, the fire rated boards can withstand temperature more than 1100°C for more than 2 hours. This makes it useful for lining the inner walls or refractories, tunnels prone to fire hazards, and fireplaces. You can also use them for external sheathing, interior wall and ceiling board, soffits, fascias, trim material, tile backing and underlayment. You can get the magnesia board in a wide range of sizes and shapes. Presently, they are used as the primary construction material in Asia. They are used for their improved physical properties su...

MgO Board and Panel better than Plasterboard ?

Image
When you use light gauge steel frame walls, you can enhance the life and performance using single or multiple layers of wallboard. Plasterboards and MgO boards have similar structural functions, but they vary slightly for different field parameters. The main advantages come to light when the boards are used in situations where there is fire. Tolerate flooding – The surface moisture absorption of the MgO board is not more than 10%(after 24 hrs), which is sufficiently insignificant. The Gypsum board shows an absorption of 30% maximum while the plywood absorbs more than 40% of the moisture. This makes the MgO board moisture resistant. The surface hardness is 6 – 8 units, which make it hard enough to tolerate flooding. The bending strength also is sufficiently high. If the area has light to moderate flooding, you can use the plasterboard construction, but when the flooding is severe or extreme, you must use MgO board construction only. Strength and Flexibility – The ultimate ben...
